James Morley III

James Morley III is a screenwriter, producer, author and all-around off-beat content creator. He is currently the owner of 64 Slices, LLC – a content creation and consulting firm. His first paid writing assignments were the straight-to-video classics Deep Water and Final Voyage.  He rebounded with the 2001 film Black Days, with Ari Margolis, which is a two-time best screenplay winner and an official selection at the 2001 Slamdance Film Festival, among others.  He then shifted to the reality space where his work at Travel Channel received over a dozen digital video awards, not even taking into account the Telly’s which apparently everyone gets just for participating.  His 2018 screenplay  Death of Me”, again with Ari Margolis, was released as a major motion picture in 2020.  Returning to writing and directing of genre pictures, his western / horror short “The Spoiled” has won numerous awards in the festival circuit in 2022 and 2023.   64 Slices has created content for ESRI, Curiosity Stream, and PlayStation. Always aiming to create content that questions the zeitgeist, his debut novel, “Sweetness Followed” is  available for purchase.
